Neurostatus e-Test is a web-based interactive test and certification tool for physicians who are interested in using a standardised scoring system for the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) and its Functional Systems (FS) in the context of multi-centre or single centre clinical studies.
EDSS steps from 0 up to 4.0 should not change compared to the previous examinati-on, unless there is a change by one grade in at least one FS score. EDSS steps from 0 up to 1.5 can only apply if ambulation is “unrestricted”. EDSS steps from 2.0 up to 5.0 are defined by the Functional System (FS) scores

From training investigative site raters on how to effectively capture the EDSS electronically/best practices, to enabling clinical data query resolution via
Background: Clinical assessment of impairment and disability in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) remains the most important outcome in therapeutic trials, and is commonly assessed with the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS). However, the EDSS exhibits high inter- and intra-rater variability. The ASSESS MS system is being developed as a non-invasive, more consistent and potentially finer grained […]
